Come in and let us guide you through your next bike solution.
Roger Campbell: Owner of Gold Coast Supercycle and has owned Palmy Cycles here on the Gold Coast for the last 28 years. He has also ridden and wrenched at the highest levels in a lot of the cycling disciplines. If something’s happened in cycling on the Goldie in the last 20 years Roger was either there or has a mate who was. Known for his continuing and consistent passion for the sport Roger is often heard sprouting the comment “Get everyone on a bike and we’ll solve all of the worlds problems”. Roger has worked tirelessly to instil his passion for cycling and cycling values onto all of the staff here at Gold Coast Supercycle.
Chuck Gartrell: Our resident “Yank” and South Tweed store manager. Chuck has been in the outdoor industry all his professional life but specifically working with bikes for the last 15 years. Originally from the cycling mecca that is Boulder, Colorado USA, he shows a strong passion for cycling and helping more people on the Gold Coast enjoy riding bikes. Chuck is not your average rider when it comes to his bike selection. He can most often be found riding through the Nerang forrest on his full rigid single speed 29er. “Suspension is in the soul”, he is fond of saying with a huge smile on his face.
Chris Moore: Tri-ath-lete: A person willing to jump into an unknown body of water regardless of inhabitants, temperature, smell or clarity. Swim a predetermined distance while being pommeled by a few hundred other freaks, only to drag self out of the water to run fast as humanly possible over various amounts of flesh puncturing debris to a $3000+ manually operated bike with a seat the width of a toothpick; jump on, ride with feet attached to pedals until your legs feel like molten lava were poured over them,; detach self several miles on legs with the stability of two wet noodles until crossing a finish line of some sort…he does this weekly apparently and loves it. Good athlete, great guy.
